On February 5th, 2025, I had the pleasure of attending runway show Gotham Glamour, run and produced by big bossman Eyecam (aka Daniel), held at the Manhattan Mirage. The fantastic event was a fashion show which featured five designers with over 60 amazing models. The show kicked off at 7 p.m. with designer The Bitt Store, real name Lynn Bitt, with their incredible line of crochet couture. But before we jump into the show, let’s talk about the vibes of Eyecam’s fashion show. For starters, this was Daniel’s first ever runway event! For a first time show runner for a fashion show of this size, I can honestly say it went a lot smoother than most would have expected.
It’s not a fashion show without chaos, but it wasn’t as hectic as I initially thought it would. Only 50% of the team and models were running around like headless chickens. The makeup artists were set up and ready to roll ahead of schedule, giving the models ample time to prepare for the spotlight. Minimal frenzy, but it was all worth it as the venue was presentable before showtime. The runway wasn’t what I expected. My knowledge of a traditional runway consisted of an elevated stage, with the crowd looking up at the sashaying models in their trendy outfits. Instead what the attendees saw was unique (at least to me). The runway was painted on. A bright white that was complimented by bright stage lights to really illuminate the unique designs that each model was showcasing.
As a guest and onlooker, I could see that the crew was genuinely having a good time. There was absolutely no silence, and in all the racket was laughter. Just smiles across the board from a majority of the models. Connections and friendships were made, and long lasting memories that are everyone involved are going to keep with them for a very long time. Speaking of memories, when the show started at 7 o’clock, just before the events first designer sent out their models, there was a very special performance by an artist by the name of Leshley. She opened the show with her lively song “Buena Vibra” which released in December of 2021. It was the perfect tune to kick off a fun filled night. It got all those in attendance in the mood to view the clothing of the night.

Rolling back to The Bitt Store, the designs for her line were perfect for the summer. Vibrant, chique, and if you are someone that considers themselves to be a bit of an environmentalist, every piece from the line is sustainable. All the materials from the line are either thrifted or from donations. If you love the croquet girl aesthetic with a mix of high fashion, then The Bitt Store is the perfect fit for you. The designer that followed Miss Lynn, was Haut-ties. Designer Doug’s line of workout gear looked extremely comfortable, and fashionable as the models strut their way down the runway with their Hautties headbands, matching cropped tops, and black sweatpants. The colors and patterns of these headbands carried from black to snow leopard, with more options in between. This segment was interactive with the crowd as models Linda and Rain, came out with Nerf guns armed with free headbands for whichever crowd member was lucky enough to catch one. This line up felt more hands on than the others, and definitely made working out seem like a lot more fun.

Last but certainly not least in the lineup for show one, is none other than Levatino Couture. The lovely designer, Athena, specializes in a variety of gowns which she proudly put on display for the masses on this night. Each gown was beautifully crafted to match each models personality and aura, and made them even more radiant than they were before. Varying from large, grandiose gowns that made the models ballroom ready to high-low dresses that shaped their wearers perfectly. The colors complimented their skin tones, and each gem was meticulously placed to the bodice to complete the look. If you ever have an event where you need a dress that would make Marie Antionette jealous, hit up Levatino Couture.
After a brief intermission which allowed guests to use the restroom or get a drink from the events bar while the models prepared themselves for the second show, we got another bumping performance from Leshley. This time with something a bit more mellow with her latest single “I Can’t Chill”. She killed it, just like she did before, and then we had our energetic host Sky Kelly introduce our next designer, FinFatale.

Designers Gretchen and Melissa are the co-owners and designers for FinFatale. Their clothing was so visually pleasing as it was heavily inspired by mermaids and was wonderfully eye-catching. It was seriously like watching Ariels siblings on a runway. The seashell bras, the fishnet tops and matching bottoms, the triton like headpieces, and cute little cover ups certainly make a person ready for summer. It just felt the perfect attire to go lay out by a pool.
Next up was swimwear designer Origin of Oceans, real name Kathleen. These swimsuits were vivid, and looked so high in quality that you’d think they were from chain clothing brand. The models that showcased the items were poised and elegant. They d efinitely made you question if your posture was okay or not. Everything about this show was impressive to say the least.

Finally, we get to our main event, Donny’s Angels and Donny’s Devils. Both owned by the same designer, Donny, Angels was more focused party dresses and street wear for women. Meanwhile Donny’s Devils is specialized in lingerie, and making women feel as sexy as they look. We closed out our night with one final design by Levatino Couture, modeled by the fantabulous Aly.
This illustrious gown was black and yellow, the brand colors for Eyecam, and wonderfully large and accentuated Aly’s features. It was a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to their dear friend, as they all went on to explain that they went on this journey together in a speech filled with sincerity.
In all the event was an organized, put together show that was the perfect opportunity for all newcomers to put their talents on display.
